Beatrice Amerud

Beatrice Marie Amerud, age 92, of Brainerd passed away on Friday, March 23, 2018 at Essentia Health/St. Joseph’s Medical Center. Her funeral service will be Thursday, March 29, at 2 pm, at Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter, with Deacon Tom Freece officiating. Friends are invited to visit from 1 pm until the time of service. Interment will follow, at Evergreen Cemetery in Brainerd.

Beatrice was born on June 18, 1925 in Brainerd, to Henry and Rose (Favreau) Peters. She grew up and attended school in Brainerd. Beatrice was a hard-working mother of eight. She was extremely quiet, and was the sweetest, kindest, most gentle woman. She is survived by six children, Stephen of Brainerd, Michael of Brainerd, Jim of Foster, Oregon, Joy of Brainerd, Wendy Richey of Baxter, and Lexy (Steve) Barrows of Baxter; two daughters-in-law, Lourdes of Henderson, Nevada and Marge of Brainerd; 17 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great-grandchildren; and a sister, Donna Perlinger of Brainerd. She was preceded in death by her parents; two children, Timothy and Douglas Amerud; and seven siblings, Genevieve, John, Conrad, Newell, Eugene, Glen, and Danny.
