Crosslake

Barbara Ann Seibert was born on May 31,1949, in Tyler, MN, to Robert and Dorothy (Anderson) Seipp. She graduated from Tyler High School and earned a bachelor’s degree in Home Economics at St. Olaf College in Northfield. Barbi was united in marriage to Michael Seibert, the love of her life, on May 31, 1971. Barbi and Mike moved to Parker, Arizona, and then to Phoenix where they lived for 25 years and owned four childcare centers in Scottsdale, Mesa, Glendale, and Phoenix where she nurtured thousands of children that she loved as her own.  She shared her creativity and knack for design to create a wonderful custom gift basket business. Once retired, Barbi and Mike moved to Crosslake, MN, where she lived for another 25 years. She was incredibly talented in many things, from entertaining and creating delicious meals to building deep, lifelong friendships with many wonderful people. Her kindness, sense of humor, generosity of gifts, and strength of her spirit and mind have taught us much about the important things in life and love, and that will be her legacy that we will always hold close to us. Barbi will forever be known as someone who could share her deep-rooted joy through any circumstance with anyone who was fortunate enough to know her.  This includes decades of courageous and resolute positivity in the face of a debilitating condition that would take her from us much too soon. She sadly passed away on April 29, 2024, surrounded by her beloved dog and family. Barbi was preceded in passing by her parents and husband. She is survived by many dear friends and family who are blessed to have had her in our lives. She will be greatly missed and always adored.

Arrangements are entrusted to Brenny Family Funeral Chapel, Crosslake.
