Barbara Seevers

Barbara Seevers of Brainerd died on July 17, 2020. Funeral services for Barbara will be at 2PM on Tuesday, July 28, 2020 at the Brenny Family Funeral Chapel, Baxter.

She was born on December 7, 1927 to Alice and George Heintz in Portland Oregon. She graduated from Roosevelt High School in 1946. She married Robert O. Seevers and together they had three boys.  Barb moved to Brainerd in 1967 from Minneapolis.  She worked for the Brainerd School District at Whittier and Riverside as a paraprofessional until her retirement.

She is survived by her sisters, Judith Pilgram, Maple Grove and Brookelea (Ron) Lutton, Elk Grove, California, her three sons, Robert (Linda) Seevers, Merrifield, Mark (Suzanne) Seevers, Highlands Ranch, Colorado, Steve (Colleen) Seevers, Baxter, five grandchildren, Candice (Dewayne) Bishop, Casey (Tim) Batt, Benjamin Seevers, Alison (Greg) Medeck, Reid (Dara) Seevers, and her great grandchildren, Lilymarie, Brianna, Lindsay, Jackson, Alexa, Madison, Jamisen, Blake, Charlie, Brigid and Felicity.

Barb was preceded in death by her parents, George Heintz, and Alice and Steve Holiday, and her brother Mike Holiday.

In lieu of flowers, Memorials are preferred to the Brainerd Chapter of DAV, Disabled Veterans of America.
