Barbara Elaine Pearson (Ernst) passed away suddenly and unexpectedly on Friday, August 5, 2022, with her family at her side a little over an hour before her 71st birthday. We are heartbroken at our loss.
Barbara was born in Minneapolis, the daughter of Helen and Lloyd Ernst. She has joined her loving mother, Helen Elaine Jarvi, who passed away just 2 years ago in the very same week. She is survived by her husband, Anthony (Tony) Pearson, her father Lloyd Ernst, her two sisters, Susan Kavanaugh (Tim), Kathryn Baldwin (Brian), her niece Kaitlyn Roach (Rex), her great-niece Braylin, her great-nephew Miles, Tony’s children, Mark Pearson (Karou), Scott Pearhill (Marcy), Craig Pearson (Kate), Natalie Fischer (Chris), Andy Martchenko (Patti), Tony’s grandchildren that Barb adopted as her own, Cole, Derek, Emma, Gabe, Robert, Caroline, Eleanor, Topher, Maxwell, Bradford, Patrick, George and many friends and relatives that loved her dearly.
Barb grew up in Anoka, MN and graduated from Anoka Senior High in 1969. She worked in the hotel business in sales and was perfectly suited for that job ultimately becoming Director of Sales for a hotel in Bloomington.
Barbara met her husband, Tony, in Florida in April, 2012, and lived seven months in Palm Beach, Florida and five months in Edina, Minnesota. She loved the life in Florida and made a large number of friends. She was very devoted to her church in Boynton Beach. She and her husband visited his family in England, where she very quickly entranced everyone. Barbara introduced Tony to her many friends in Minnesota. They enjoyed being together and each morning walked around Centennial Lakes.
Barb was always the life of the party and loved and cared for her family and those around her. Barb was especially great with the little kids in the family and could make fun out of nothing. She had a knack for photography, traveled to many countries and lived a full and fun life. She was always on the go with social gatherings, traveling, shopping, and meeting and making new friends everywhere she went. She was vibrant, fun, kind, funny and truly beautiful.
A funeral will be held at the Brenny Family Funeral Chapel at 7348 Excelsior Road, Baxter, MN on August 25, 2022. Visitation will be at 10 am with the service at 11 am.
The funeral will be for both Barbara and her Mother, Helen, who died during Covid. They will be buried together at Sheriff Lake on Friday. Barb would have wanted it this way. We miss her deeply already. We miss them both.
