Barbara Meyer

Barbara Jean Meyer, 91, of Pequot Lakes, passed away on July 15, 2024. Funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Monday, July 22nd at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Pequot Lakes. Visitation will be one hour prior to services.

Barb was born July 8, 1933, in Sioux Falls, South Dakota to Cecil and Emma (Buchholz) Mathers. She was united in marriage to Roland Meyer in November of 1959 in Sioux Falls, SD. After their marriage, they moved to Pipestone and in 1968 they moved to Pequot Lakes.

Barb spent seventeen years working at Lakeland State Bank and thirteen years at Schaefers Foods. She enjoyed bowling, reading and gardening. Above all else, she loved spending time with her family and doing whatever they loved.

Barb is survived by her children, Leigh Ann Roggenkamp of Pequot Lakes, MN, Kevin Meyer of Ennis, MT, Darrin Meyer of Pequot Lakes, MN, Lynette (Michael) Nolan of Nisswa, MN; six grandchildren, Mandie, Jordan, Justin, Taylor, Michael, Mitchell; and seven great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband; parents; and seven siblings.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Brenny Family Funeral Chapel, Pequot Lakes.
