Barbara Ann Clair, age 57, passed away at Senior Class Community Assisted Living of Pequot Lakes, MN, on November 9, 2022. Barb was born on December 28, 1964, to Ivan and Lala Fisher in Crookston, MN. She was a graduate of the Texas Institute of Jewelry Technology at Paris Junior College in Paris, TX. She married Kevin Clair and resided in Richardson, TX for many years. They had two children together, Brandon and Casey Clair. Barb discovered an appreciation for the jewelry business working in her father's jewelry store. Early in her career she became an independent goldsmith where she created and designed fine jewelry.
Barb lived her life to the fullest through her creativity as she spent her spare time remodeling homes, becoming an expert at tiling floors, and had an incredible green thumb when it came to gardening. She loved water sports to include sea doing, scuba diving, boating, and playing water volleyball in the pool. She did a lot of ceramics in her younger years. She loved to dance and listen to music, which included Elvis and country with her dad and mom. Barb loved to decorate for Christmas - creating pinecone wreaths, giant ribbon bows, lighted trees, a motorized train with elves, giant lollipops and marching soldiers throughout the lawn. She loved to make chocolate chip pancakes on the weekends. She had a love of animals like none other especially dogs & they all knew it who were so lucky to become Barb's pet.
Barb trusted everyone and set an example for all through her kindness to people. She was loving, patient, and kind as she raised two loving boys who were the pride and joy of her life. She is survived by her children Brandon Clair of McKinney, TX and Casey Clair of Plano, TX; parents, Ivan and Lala Fisher of Backus, MN; siblings: Larry Fisher (Sandra) of Albert Lea, MN, Julie Fisher of Albuquerque, NM, Brenda Kuznik (Paul) of Breckenridge, CO, and Krystal Olson (John) of Rochester, MN; niece, Shaunee Renchin (Cory) of Albert Lea, MN; and nephew, Garrett Fisher (Haley) of Ardmore, OK.
