Barbara Berry

Barbara Jean Berry passed away on October 25,2021 at Essentia Health-St. Joseph’s Medical Center. Funeral services will be November 6th at 2pm at Brenny Family Funeral Chapel in Baxter. There will be a visitation 1 hour prior to the services.

Barbara was born on April 12, 1947 in Merced, California to Elven and Ida Goucher (Pankratz).  Barbara lived in California until 1971 when she moved with her husband Merle to Minnesota. Barbara and Merle lived in Brainerd where they raised their son and daughter. Barbara loved spending time with her kids and grandkids playing indoor and outdoor games along with eating sweets while playing. She loved watching sunsets, flowers, and watching the wildlife. She enjoyed all holidays, the decorating, baking, the big meal, and of course the sweets. She was also a huge Nascar fan, her favorite driver was Jeff Gordon.

Barbara is survived by her son Merle (Sara) Berry, daughter April (Michael) Smith, Grandson’s Kertis (Nikki) Hardy, Andrew Hardy, Preston Swanson, Elijah, Keegan, Aften Berry, great grandkids Nova, Atem, Scarlett, Brooklynn, and her sisters Yvonne Schmidt, and Doris Paisley.

Barbara is proceeded in death by her parents, brothers Bob, Tom, brother in laws Larry, Jerry and grandson Jaiden.

Barbara will be missed and forever loved by many.

Arrangements have been entrusted to the Brenny Family Funeral Chapel, Baxter.
