Barbara Anderson

Barbara A. Anderson, 77, of Crosslake, MN died on Friday, November 9, 2012 at Cuyuna Regional Medical Center in Crosby, MN. Private Family Services will be held.

Barbara was born on October 16, 1935 in Nakoma, ND to Edwin and Helen (Jacobs) Gulden. She graduated from High School in Warren, MN. Barbara married Robert Anderson on November 10, 1956 in Warren, MN. Barbara and Robert made their home in Brooklyn Park, MN. Barbara loved the time they spent at their cabin on Little Pine Lake near Aitkin, MN. In 1981 they moved to the Crosslake area. She was a member of the Crosslake American Legion Post 500. Barbara's life centered around being a stay at home mom caring for her family.

Barbara is survived by her husband of 56 years, Bob; children, David (Janis) Anderson, Pamela Schlagel; grandchildren, Shauna, Stephanie, Justin, and Kelsey; great-grandchildren, Jackson, Breckyn, and Parker; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Mary; and brother, John.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Brenny Funeral Chapel in Crosslake, MN.
