It is with terrible sadness and grief we announce the sudden passing of Arwen, beloved daughter, sister, granddaughter, and special friend to many.
Born August 6, 2013, to Michael Clayton Newbold and Raya Lynn (Hunt) Newbold, Died February 15, 2024, in her Pine River family home.
Preceding her in death and waiting for her in heaven are her great grandparents Ruth & Nathan Talbot, Jeanne & Norman Hunt, Clayton & Leah Williams, and LaMar & Louise Newbold.
She is survived by her loving parents, Mike and Raya Newbold. Siblings, Galen Newbold, Ewan Newbold, Ian Newbold, Clayton Newbold, Shannon Newbold, Reuben Newbold, Egon Newbold, and Marian Newbold. Grandparents; Karla & Phil Newbold and Lynn & Paul Hunt.
Uncle Ryan Hunt, Aunt Amy (Colin) McLain, Aunt Catherine Barnes, Uncle David Newbold, Uncle Jared Newbold, Uncle Brad (Amy) Newbold, and Aunt Melissa (Scott) Heppler.
And lots and lots of wonderful cousins and great aunts, uncles and cousins.
There will be a memorial for our beloved Arwen at the Pine River Backus School commons on Friday afternoon after school on February 23rd, from 3:30 pm to 5:00pm. A funeral will be at 10 am on Saturday, February 24th at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints at 101 Buffalo Hills Lane, Brainerd, MN. There will be a visitation starting at 9:30am at the church. Internment will be at the Evergreen Memorial Cemetery on Saturday, February 24th following the service All are welcome.
