Arvid Warner

Arvid Carlyle Warner, 90, of Clarrisa, formally of Fawn Lake Township, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 11, 2013 at Central Todd County Care Center, Clarrisa. Graveside services will be on Thursday, June 13, 2013, at 11:00 AM at Evergreen Hill Cemetery in Staples, with Pastor Robin Collins officiating.

Arvid was born to Clarence and Annie (Hotlelid) Warner on February 24, 1923 in St. Paul, MN. Arvid lived with his mother and stepfather, Paul Oldenburg, most of his life. He attended country school in Fawn Lake Township up until the sixth grade. Arvid lived and worked on the family farm until 1984. In 1984 he moved to Mary Rondorf Retirement Home (Lakewood Manor) in Staples. He worked at the Todd County DAC for many years. He moved to the Central Todd County Care Center on May 31, 2007. Arvid enjoyed going to auctions, he was very social and liked to help others by volunteering his labor. He was interested in cars and liked to collect model cars and belt buckles. Arvid will be missed by those who knew him.
