Arthur "John" Anderson

Arthur “John” Anderson died peacefully in his home in Breezy Point, MN on July 5, 2021. He was born on March 25, 1948 in Blue Earth, Minnesota to Medford and Lois Anderson.

John graduated from Blue Earth High School and went on to play football and attend Morningside College in Sioux City, IA. There he met the love of his life and wife of 50 years, Christine Kwikkel Anderson. John loved to entertain and host family get-togethers in the summer, especially during the Fourth of July. He enjoyed spending time with family, playing cards, cooking, gardening, boating and going on road trips with his wife.

John leaves behind his loving wife, Chris; his daughter, Tracey (Rick) Bartkowitz; and grandson, Riley Anderson. He is preceded in death by his son, and best friend, Yankten Anderson; his mother and father, Lois and Medford Anderson; his mother in-law, Florence Kwikkel; and father in-law, Bill Kwikkel. Also left to cherish his memory are his sisters, Reta (Eldon) Steele, Nancy Cole; brother, George (Judy) Anderson; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law: Connie (George) Lederer, Kathy (George) Sully and Billie (David) McNeil; and many loving nieces and nephews.

A family memorial will be held on a future date.
