Arnold Wetsch

February 22, 1944 — December 20, 2015

Arnold (Arne) G. Wetsch passed away on December 20, 2015 at his lake home in Fifty Lakes, MN. He is preceded in death by parents, George and Tillie Wetsch; parents-in-law, Ken and Florence Harris; brother-in-law, Ken Harris II.

Arne was born in Mandan, ND. He attended schools in Minneapolis MN, Sacramento CA and Milwaukee WI. He met and married his wife, Jodi, in Milwaukee. They moved to MN in 1969 and settled in Apple Valley.

Arne was self-employed as Wesmor Sales for over 30 years. He began his new career of Golf in 2004 when he and Jodi began to spend their time between their homes in golf communities of Pebblecreek AZ and Golden Eagle in MN.

Arne will be always loved by his wife, Jodi; daughters and sons-in-law, Rebecca (Derek) Naill of Lakeville, MN, Jessica (Brian) Kazmierkoski of Maple Grove, MN and his eight grandchildren, Ryan, Kaelyn, Will, Megan, Ellie, Madelyn, Charlie, and little Henry Arnold; sisters, Elaine Wetsch, Dorothy (Del) DeBilzen, Ella (Dick) Amundson; sisters-in-law, Donna Tillman and Nancy Harris; nieces and nephews; and many dear friends in AZ and MN.

The family would like to extend their sincere gratitude to all the professionals who helped them through this journey - Mayo Clinics of Scottsdale, AZ and Rochester, MN, Cuyuna Regional Medical Center, Crosby, MN and the HomeHealth Partnership Hospice program.

Arne was a gentle man sharp with wit, intelligence, and the highest of moral character. The strength he displayed through his illness was amazing. His ability to remain steadfast and positive as he fought the fight was an inspiration to all who love him. He will be missed.

A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on January 7, 2015 at Mary Mother, Cliff Rd., Burnsville, MN. Visitation will begin at 9:30 A.M., followed by mass at 11:00 A.M. A luncheon will follow at the church. Arrangements have been entrusted to Brenny Funeral Chapel in Crosslake, MN.
