Arlene Jones

Arlene Dorothy Jones, 88, of Brainerd died on Thursday, January 26, 2012 at her home at Bethany Apartments in Brainerd, MN. A memorial service for Arlene is scheduled for Monday, January 30, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter with lunch following the service at Brenny Funeral Chapel Reception Room in Baxter, MN. Private interment at Minnesota State Veteran's Cemetery in Little Falls, MN.

Arlene was born on January 26, 1924 in LuVerne, MN to Earl and Ann (DeRue) Rademacher Sr. Her family moved to the Brainerd area in 1932. Arlene was united into marriage to Melvin Jones on July 13, 1944. She worked at National Tea and later worked for Super Value. Arlene enjoyed knitting, crocheting, fishing, and gardening.

She is survived by her children, Lorraine Nelson of Brainerd, MN, Ron (Linda) Jones of Brainerd, MN, Marilyn (Mike) Hitesman of Kansas City, MO, LuAnn (Dale) Rapovich of Baxter, MN; brothers, Roger Rademacher of Outing, MN, Earl Rademacher Jr. of Brainerd, MN, Bill Rademacher of Clear Lake, MN; ten grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. Arlene was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Melvin, and one brother, Wayne.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter.
