Arjean Reynolds

Arjean L. Reynolds, 70, of Backus, lost her battle with cancer and passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, February 1, 2011. She was born April 12, 1940, to Henry and Thelma Folkers in Pine River. Arjean graduated from Pine River High School in 1957. She married Donald L. Reynolds in 1958. They were married for 52 years. In 1958 she went to work for BNSF Railroad in St. Paul and retired in 2001. Arjean and Donald moved to Backus in 2005 and settled on Rice Portage Lake where she loved to sit on the porch with her friends and family, drinking coffee, watching the birds, squirrels and deer feed on the front lawn and enjoying the beautiful view across the lake. She loved her family and will be greatly missed.
Arjean is survived by her husband Donald; daughter, Debra J. Reynolds Bradbury; grandchildren, Amber Sheak, Ryan Sheak, Travis Bradbury, Kevin Bradbury; great grandchildren, Donovin Sheak and Warren Hutchins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and sister, Judy Baller.
According to Arjean's wishes, memorials will be given to the American Cancer Society.
Services will be 11 AM on Friday, February 4, at the Church of the Nazarene in Backus, followed by a lunch.
