Ardyth Sullivan

Ardyth E. Sullivan, age 88, of Brainerd passed away Saturday, November 12, 2016, at Edgewood Vista in Brainerd. Funeral services will be Saturday, November 19, at 11:30 AM, at Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter. Visitation will be prior to the service, from 9:30-11:30. Interment will be at Evergreen Cemetery.

Ardyth was born October 28, 1928 in Pillager, to Robert and Grace (Richmond) Oliphant. She was married to John V. Sullivan, Jr. in Washington, on December 29, 1946. Together, John and Ardyth owned and operated the Downtown Motel in Brainerd from 1962-1977. Ardyth also did seasonal work at several national parks around the country. She enjoyed shopping and traveling.

Ardyth is survived by her children, Karen Sullivan, of Baxter, and Bob (Larissa) Sullivan, of Merrifield; grandchildren Tanya, Todd, Jenny, Jackie, John, Liam, Lawson, Alexis, and Myles; great-grandchildren, Michele, Gabriele, Alayna, Nora, Adrienne, and Caiden; and siblings Betty (Robert) Marshall, Dale Oliphant, Galen Oliphant, Jane Salfisberg, Sharon Ackervikk, Bruce (Mary) Oliphant, Gary (Jan) Oliphant, and Diane (Sam) Talhami. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John; and two brothers, Ralph and Marvin Oliphant. Services entrusted to Brenny Funeral Chapel and Cremation Services, www.brenny.com.
