Anthony 'Tony' DeLong

Anthony (Tony) DeLong, 74, passed away at home in Pine Center, MN on July 7, 2023. Funeral Services for Tony will be held on July 28, 2023, at 11:00am at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Harding, MN. Friends and family will gather beginning at 9:00am at the church.

Tony was born November 2, 1948, in Little Falls, MN to the late Julia (Gallek) Woitalla Delong and the late Sturgis Delong. He is survived by his brothers: Jerry (June) Delong of Princeton, Donny Delong of Texas, and Joe Delong of Vadnais Heights, his sisters: Joann Cunningham of Pierz and MaryJane Delong of Brainerd, stepsisters: Joanie Puente of New Prague and Jeanie (Hank) Miers of Circle Pines, and many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his Mother Julia Woitalla, Father Sturgis Delong, Stepfather Adam Woitalla, sister Dorothy Ginter, brother Dickie Delong, nephew Larry Woitalla, brothers-in-law Louie Ginter, Marcello Puente, and Jack Cunningham, and sister-in-law Debbie Delong 

Tony graduated from Pierz High School in 1966 and enlisted in the National Guard for 6 years.

He worked for 3M for 10 years and American Can Company for a few years.

He owned Farmer’s Bar in Lastrup from 1980-1995 and did security at Grand Casino Mille Lacs for 15 years.

Tony enjoyed many hobbies including Deer hunting, Woodworking and making yard ornaments, going to the casino and going to auctions, and traveling. He loved getting together with friends and family. He loved jokes and making people laugh!

Tony enjoyed life and brought joy to many!
