Anne Morlock Potter, 62, of Brainerd, died Friday, April 13, 2007 at the St. Cloud Hospital in St. Cloud, MN. A Funeral Service is scheduled for 1:00 PM, Monday, April 16, 2007 at Heritage Assembly of God Church in Baxter with Pastor Tim Walker officiating. Friends may gather Sunday evening from 4-6 PM at the Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter. Interment will follow at Norwood Cemetery near Jenkins.
Anne Morlock was born July 2, 1944 in Minneapolis, the daughter of Dr. Carl G. and Katherine (Mercer) Morlock. She was raised in Rochester before attending Macalester College in St. Paul. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English. In 1963, she was married to David Brooks. The couple had three children and made their home in Little Falls. She later moved to Brainerd and lived there until her death. She was united in marriage to Larry Potter June 25, 1988. She loved to travel and read. Anne was also an active member of the Assembly of God Church in Pine River.
Anne will be missed by her husband, Larry; her children, Steven (Kimberlee) Brooks, of Sarasota, FL, James (Sara) Brooks, of Chaska, and Sarah (Anthony) Grobel, of Victoria; her grandchildren, Ashton Brooks, Spencer Brooks, Jay Brooks, Alison Grobel, and Jack Grobel; and her brother, William Morlock, of Glendale, AZ. She was preceded in death by her parents.
