Annamae Gloria Dill was born in Chicago, IL on October 2, 1927, to Eric and Helen M. (Skar) Mattson. As a youngster she moved to St. Paul with her family, where she attended school. She was married to her husband of 35 years, Lawrence James Dill, in St. Paul, on June 24, 1965. They lived in Roseville, and Gloria did clerical work for Bell Telephone Company. They moved to Brainerd upon their retirement 10 years ago, and spent the winters in Apache Junction, AZ. Gloria attended the Lutheran Church, and belonged to a Garden Club. She and Lawrence enjoyed attending flea markets, where she collected old dishes and glassware. She enjoyed time spent entertaining family and friends.
Gloria Dill is survived by her husband Lawrence; two daughters, Mary Froemel of St. Paul, and Carmen Parks of Sydney, MT; five sons, William (Jill) Harkins of Vadnais Heights, Eugene ?Gene? Harkins of Vadnais Heights, Chester Harkins of Fresno, CA, Larry Dill of Sydney, MT, and Garry (Dorothy) Dill of Big Lake; two sisters, Gayle (James) Kincannon of Chaska, and Meri (Michael) Young of St. Paul; a brother Eric (Pat) Mattson of Stacy; ten grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, a son Craig, and a son Michael.
