Ann E. Morrill, age 90, of Motley, passed away late Friday evening, March2, 2007, at Bethany Good Samaritan Village in Brainerd. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 AM Wednesday at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Motley. Interment will be in the Motley Public Cemetery. Friends may call beginning at 9:30 until time of services at the Church on Wednesday.
Ann Elizabeth Morrill was born October 4, 1916, on the family farm in North Germany Township, the daughter of Frank and Katherine (Buschinger) Youngbauer. She grew up and attended country school there. After her schooling she helped on the family farm. Following her marriage she lived in several different places including Wadena, Montana, Staples, and then farmed near Bluegrass. In the late 1950's she moved to Motley. She was a cook at El Ray's and Mr. Ed's in Motley and also was a waitress in the coffee shop in Staples. On December 13, 2005, she moved to Bethany Good Samaritan Village in Brainerd.
She was preceded in death by her 1st and 2nd husbands, Steven Baloun and Forrest Morrill; parents, Frank and Katherine; brothers, Hubert, Pete, Simon, and Bernard; and sisters, Tracy Evenson and Helen Youngbauer. Ann is mourned in passing by her children, Sally (Dave) Jay of Green Castle, IN, Kathleen (Gerald) Koppes of St. Paul, MN, Ben (Karen) Baloun of Pequot Lakes, MN, and Frank (Sharon) Baloun of Blaine, MN; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; sister, Martha Frank: and brother, Frank Youngbauer both of Wadena, MN
