Ann DeRose

Ann J. DeRose, age 86, of Staples, MN, died on Tuesday, July 31, 2001, at the Elim Home in Princeton, MN. Graveside services will be held at the Evergreen Hill Cemetery in Staples at a later date. Arrangements are with the Brenny Funeral Home in Staples.
Ann J. DeRose was born on November 4, 1914, in Staples, MN, to John and Anna (Miller) Shafer. It was in Staples that she grew up and attended Sacred Heart School. She married Joseph DeRose in Minneapolis, MN. Ann lived in Minneapolis, Little Falls, Staples and currently lived at the Elim Home in Princeton.

Ann is survived by 2 sons, Joe (Nancy) Des Rosier of Princeton, MN and Perry Des Rosier of Pierz, MN; a sister, Syd Russel of Minneapolis; 4 grandchildren; and 1 great-grandchild. Her parents, her husband, and her son, Michael, preceded her in death.
