Amy Melvina Smith, 80, of Baxter died on Friday, September 20, 2013 at Diamond Willow in Baxter, MN. Amy will be cherished forever in the hearts and memories of those who loved her. Services for Amy will be held at Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter, MN on Friday, September 27, 2013. Visitation is at 10:00AM followed by service at 11:00AM; Chaplain Jim Neppl officiating. A luncheon will be held at Brenny Funeral Chapel Reception Room following the service. Amy's family invites you to join them at the inurnment at Greenwood Cemetery in Nisswa, MN, following the luncheon.

Amy is survived by her children; John (Karen) Smith of Lake Shore, MN, Debra (JP) Wesp of Pequot Lakes, MN, Ruth (Mark) Olding of Brainerd, MN, Linda Smith (Gene Peterson) of Nisswa, MN, Christine (Brian) Lundgren of Nisswa, MN, and Thomas Smith of Brainerd; daughter-in-law, Sharon Smith; sisters, Lorna (Ernest) Rasinski of Lake Shore, MN, and Floris Haux of Brainerd, MN; brother, Bernard (Juanita) Holsapple of Brainerd, MN; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Seward and Isabelle (Gunderson) Holsapple; husband, Edward A. Smith; son, Michael A. Smith; granddaughter, Melissa Smith; brothers, Floyd Holsapple, Carl Holsapple, and Roland Holsapple; sisters, Beverly Holsapple, Barbara Klein, Ardis Steinke and Delores Harjes.
