Amanda Peterson

Amanda Peterson, age 80, of Brainerd, Minnesota died Monday, July 1, 2002 at Bethany Good Samaritan Village. Services will be on Friday, July 5, 2002 at 1 PM at Bethany Good Samaritan Village Chapel with Reverend Juli Sutton Deem officiating, with visitation one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in the Clarks Grove Cemetery. Arrangements are with the Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter.
Amanda June Peterson was born on June 10, 1922 in Clarks Grove, Minnesota daughter of Ruben and Annie (Larson) Peterson. In 1931Amanda moved to Brainerd with her family. She graduated from the Brainerd High School. She worked at New System Bakery in Brainerd for a few years. She worked at Thrifty White Drug Store in the downtown location, for 31 years, retiring in 1987. She enjoyed crocheting and embroidering.

Amanda is survived by a sister Pauline (Vernon) Lockwood and brother Dwayne (Ardith) Peterson all of Brainerd. Her parents preceded her in death. Submitted by: Brenny Funeral Chapel 218-828-5051
