Alvin "Pat" Raymond Flynn, Age 78, of Crosslake, died Monday, September 29, 2003. Pat was born on December 4th, 924 in Osakis to Raymond & Katherine (Clarity) Flynn. He graduated from the University of MN with honors. During WW11 Pat served with the Fighting 69 during the Battle of the Bulge. Pat served as the Vice President of McQuay Prefix in Plymouth and President/CEO of HeatCraft in Grenada, Mississippi. He was an active member of the Crosslake Lions for numerous years until his health prevailed him from contributing anymore in 2001. Pat Flynn was a loving, son, husband, brother, brother-in-law, uncle, friend and mentor to many!
He is survived by his children; Raymond Flynn of Brooklyn Park, Steve Flynn of Maple Grove & friend Judy Moravec of Breezy Point, Judy (Jeff) Drigans of Olathe, Kansas, W. Scott Flynn of Pequot Lakes, Teri Jo (Erick "Chuck") Gammon of Ideal Corners; grandchildren, Neil Flynn of Mpls, Jonathan Flynn of St. Louis Park, Camille Drigans of Lawrence, KS, Ryan Drigans of Olathe, KS and Savanah Jane Gammon of Pequot Lakes; a brother, Dick (Margaret) Flynn of Bloomington; sisters, Helen (Gene) Blatz of Crosslake, Kate Flynn of Rochester and Bob Stamschror, a loving friend who has provided wisdom and spiritual guidance to both Pat and his family. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 48 years Jane(Kocina) Flynn, son Michael Flynn of Gulf Breeze, Florda, his parents and a sister Mary Frisvold of Rochester.
Funeral services will be held on Friday afternoon at 2 PM at the Immaculate Heart Catholic Church in Crosslake. Relatives will receive friends on Thursday evening (10/2) from 6-8 at the Brenny Funerl Home in Crosslake with prayers at 7:30. Memorials are preferred to the Lion of Crosslake.
Pat worked very hand through his life to provide for his entire family, mother, siblings, children and grandchildren.
