AlvinDusterhoft,88, ofBrainerd, formerly of Nisswa, died Wed., Oct 26, 2016, at Edgewood Vista in Brainerd. A Memorial service will be held at 1 pm on Sat., Nov. 12, 2016, with military honors, at Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter with visitation starting at noon. Burial will be at Fort Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis at a later date.

He was born Jan. 18, 1928, in Otter Tail County, to Ruben and Anna (Johnson) Dusterhoft. He was a WWII Air Force veteran. He married Helen Sjoquist on June 7, 1958. He spent his working career as a house painter and was a member of American Legion in Nisswa.

He is survived byhis siblings: Carol Guck, Joyce (Ray) Koller, Wayne (Judy) Dusterhoft, Gordon (Mary) Dusterhoft, Janet Broadbent, Larry Dusterhoft, Linda (Butch) Rohlf, Martin (Carole) Dusterhoft; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death his parents, Ruben and Anna (Johnson) Dusterhoft; Wife, Helen Dusterhoft; brothers, James and Vernon Dusterhoft;sister-in-law, Annette (Betts) Dusterhoft; brothers-in-law, Bernard Guck and Edward Broadbent.

Arrangements are withthe BrennyFuneral Chapel & Cremation in Baxter.
