Alvin Andrew Jr.

Alvin C. Andrew Jr. 71, of Brainerd, MN died at Pierz Villa on Monday, February 5, 2018. Services for Alvin will be held on Friday, February 9, 2018 at 11:00AM at Bethlehem Evangelical Church in Brainerd, MN with Pastor Mark Skinner officiating. Visitation will begin at 10:00AM at the church before services. Interment will be at Crosslake Cemetery in Fosston, MN.

Alvin was born on March 29, 1946 in Brainerd, MN to Alvin and Marie (Eide) Andrew. He graduated from Brainerd High School in 1964. Alvin then attended St. Cloud Business College from 1964-1965. He began his career at Potlatch Paper Company in 1966 where he retired from in 2002. He married Sharon Westre on May 20, 1972 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church. Alvin enjoyed fishing, deer, duck, and goose hunting. He also liked to cut and split wood, and ride his four- wheeler. Alvin also enjoyed fishing with friends and family to Canada. Alvin was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church.

Alvin is survived by his wife, Sharon; sons, Mark Andrew, Wade (Sabrina) Andrew; granddaughter, Gabriella Andrew; brothers, Denis (Cindi) Andrew, Tim (Monica) Andrew, and sister, Lynne (Rick) Adair. He was preceded in death by his parents, Alvin Sr. and Marie. Arrangements have been entrusted to Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter, MN.
