Alice Terry

Alice K. Terry, 86, of Breezy Point, MN, passed away March 26, 2011. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Tuesday, March 29, 2011 at the Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter with Pastor Bob Twiton officiating. Family and friends are welcome to gather one hour prior to services.

Alice was born December 15, 1924, in Oklahoma, the daughter of Xavier F. and Hazel (Bliss) Kiefer. She was united in marriage to Edward Terry on October 22, 1943. The couple made their home in various parts of the country. Alice was proud to be a member of each of the local girl scouts, where she was a Scout Leader. Following Edward's death in 1961, Alice owned and operated a resort on Gull Lake before moving to a dairy farm. She sold sweet corn in Pequot Lakes for several years and Alice was known as the "Corn Lady". She enjoyed gardening and traveling.

She will be missed by her son, Frank (Darla) Terry, of Breezy Point; her daughter, Rita Bohn, of CO; grandchildren, Mason, Paula, Ginger, and Christopher; brothers, Wayne Kiefer, of TX and Bill Kiefer, of KS; and her sister, Leota Hebert, of KS. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward; friend and companion, Jim Holsapple; and her sister, Anna Mae.
