Alice Schmidt

Alice Margaurite Schmidt, 87, of Pequot Lakes, MN, went to see the Lord on Thursday, July 19, 2012 at the Ark of The River adult foster care center in Anoka, MN. She was born on February 13, 1925 in Caledonia, MN the daughter of Anthony and Theresa (Murphy) Hill.
She married Herbert (Herb) Hanson in 1954. Herb passed in 1978. She married Lloyd Schmidt in 1981 and Lloyd passed in 1987.

She was a member of St. Alice Council of Catholic Women, Nisswa Garden Club, Red Hats Club, Young at Heart Widowers Group and Pequot American Legion Auxiliary Post #49

Alice was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, and three sisters.

She was a wonderful loving aunt to many nieces and nephews. She was also survived by her special friend Father David Forsman.

Mass of Christian Burial for Alice will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, July 24, 2012 at St. Alice Catholic Church in Pequot Lakes, with Father David Forsman officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be 10 AM on Wednesday, July 25, at the Lakewood Cemetery in Minneapolis.
