Alice Peterson

Alice Martha Peterson, 80, formerly of Isle, passed away at St Mary's Hospital in Duluth on Saturday May 26, 2012.

Alice was born on April 24, 1932, in Redtop, MN to William and Martha (Schulke) Moss.

Alice married Glenn Myron Peterson, on May 26, 1951.Glenn and Alice owned, Peterson Bros. Blacktop in Isle and Peterson's Marina on Mille Lacs Lake. Alice enjoyed working in her gardens and growing a variety of flowers.

Alice is survived by her son Terry(Stacy) Peterson of Breezy Point, MN.; two daughters: Cindy (Ron) Lane of Virginia, MN., and Beth(Todd) Boetcher of Basset, NEB.: three brothers: Lester(Kathryn), Marvin(Lil), Emil(Sue): three sisters: Clara(Wendell) Christensen, Joann(William) Bain, Judy(Gerald) Olson. She is also survived by grandson Justin Peterson; two grand daughters; Amanda Rich and Michelle Rich, also great grand daughter Rilee Rich.

Alice is preceded in death by her husband Glenn, parents, brother Wilbert, sisters Carol Moss, Margie Moss and Marlys Spanier. Also preceded in death by grandson Staff Sargent Lathan C. Peterson.

Private services and internment will take place at the MN State Veterans Cemetery near Camp Ripley.
