Alice Fradet

Alice Vivian Fradet, 91, of Brainerd, passed away Friday, December 22, 2017 at Good Samaritan Society – Oakwood Village. Services will be held at NOON, Friday, December 29, 2017 at Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter. Family and friends are invited to gather one hour prior to services. Alice was born June 1, 1926, in Oberon, ND, the daughter of Sidney and Cora (Graham) Hillman. Raised and educated in the Brainerd Lakes Area, Alice was united in marriage to Donald Fradet. The couple made their home on Squaw Point in 1955. Alice loved to garden and was able to supply the residents of Squaw Point with fresh vegetables and flowers. Alice is survived by her siblings, Jean Sigler, of Brainerd, Elsie Melby, of St. Cloud, Dean Hillman, of Brainerd, and Emily (Jim) Thompson, of Brainerd and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; and brother, John “Billy” Hillman. The family would like to extend their gratitude for the love and wonderful care Alice received from the staff at Oakwood.
