Alice Eiesland

Alice Eiesland, age 77, of Brainerd, MN, died September 29, 2011 at the St. Cloud Hospital surrounded by her family.

Memorial Services for Alice will be held at 1:00 PM, Wednesday, October 5, 2011 at the Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter. Family and friends are invited to gather one hour prior to services. Private Interment will take place at Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery in Little Falls, MN.

Alice was born January 9, 1934, in Canton, SD, the daughter of Frederick and Fannie (Wierda) Van Ness. She married Aaron Eiesland on April 19, 1952. She graduated from Canton High School in 1952.

She is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, Aaron; sons, Scott (Doreen), of Baxter Tim (Lori), of Minneapolis, Terry, of Atlanta, GA, and Tom (Julie), of Brainerd; daughter-in-law, Linda, of Brainerd; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Fred and daughter-in-law, Nancy.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Voice of The Martyrs or Samaritan's Purse.
