Alice was born on August 12, 1930 in Minneapolis, MN to Carl and Hazel (Peterson) Bondeson. She graduated from Central High School in Minneapolis. She was united into marriage on April 2, 1955 in Minneapolis to LeRoy Bauer. Alice and LeRoy lived in Trenton, New Jersey before returning to Minneapolis. They then moved to Rapid City, South Dakota in 1976 where they spent their winters and in the summer they spent their time at Sylvan Lake. After the death of her husband, LeRoy, Alice lived with her daughter, Amy and her three children. She enjoyed traveling, dancing, Vikings, Twins, and hockey. Alice's family was the focus of her life and she loved spending her time with them. She came to know the Lord later in life, but her faith was very important to her. Alice was a self-less person, always giving of herself to others, and loved deeply those whom she cared about.

Alice is survived by her children, Theresa (Bruce) Palmer of Rapid City, SD, Paul (Diane) Bauer of Eden Prairie, MN, Terry (Paulette) Bauer of Fort Meyers, FL, Amy Bauer Nelson of Pillager, MN, and Tom Bauer of Pequot Lakes, MN; sister, Betty Jorgenson of Savage, MN; eight grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, LeRoy; daughters, Linnea and Michelle; brother, Richard; and sisters, Eleanor and Marilyn "Toots". Arrangements have been entrusted to Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter, MN.
