Alex Alfred Anderson

Alex Alfred Anderson, age 86, of Columbia Heights, MN passed away peacefully at his son’s home in Brainerd on

September 22, 2022. A memorial service for Alex will be held at 2:00pm on Friday October 14, 2022 at the Miller Funeral Home in Fridley, MN. There will be a visitation held one hour prior to the start of the service.

Alex was born to Arthur and Hazel (Lundin) Anderson on March 22, 1936 in Minneapolis, MN. After

graduating from High School, Alex enlisted in the US Navy, and served for four years. After his service,

he was employed by the Federal Missile Corporation as a Calibrator.

He enjoyed a peaceful day on the lake out fishing and liked to be challenged to a good game of bowling.

He loved to sing karaoke and enjoyed making his garden full of fresh and beautiful plants, flowers, and

vegetables.

Alex is survived by his sons Randall Anderson and Martin Anderson, his daughter Heidi (Roy Jr.) Kraklau,

grandchildren Drew Anderson, Kristen (Gordy) Miller, Austin and Alex Kraklau, his siblings Gene Ness and

Arlene Hackanson, and many nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Pat, his parents, his brothers Lynthon and Arthur Anderson and sister Marlyn Dahlberg.

Arrangements are entrusted to Brenny Family Funeral Chapel, Baxter.
