Alden "Gary" Crocker went home to his Lord peacefully on Sunday, November 3, 2013, with his wife and children by his side. He was born to Harold and Matilda (Swanson) Crocker in Brainerd, Minnesota, on April 3, 1942. He was raised on a farm south of Pillager with his three brothers, Marvin, Roger and Harold Jr. (Mickey). He married the love of his life, Beverly Flategraff, on November 16, 1962. Together they raised four children, Bobbie Crocker of Hudson WI, Mitchell (Kristi) of Lake Shore MN, Paula Crocker of Hudson WI, Kelly (Mick) McBrien of Lake Shore MN. Gary had twelve grandchildren, Michael, Samantha, Molly, Carley, Mitch, Ian, Kendall, Taylor, Elly, Afton, Kaiden, and Nikki. He also had five great-grandchildren, Connor, Preston, Isabelle, Scarlett and Charlie and one soon to be born.
Gary was a rancher with his brother, Roger, for 35 years. At that time he was on the Board of Directors for Production Credit Association for fourteen years. He also was on the Lake Shore City Council for twelve years. For the past 29 years Gary has owned Crocker Collision with his son Mitch. Although Gary loved to farm, hunt and fish, nothing compared to the love he had for his family. Gary's love for all of his grandchildren was second to none. Family and God were the two things that mattered in his life and Gary would readily tell that to all he knew.
Gary is survived by his loving wife, his four children and their spouses, his grandchildren, his brother, Mickey, and many dear, close friends. His smile and storytelling will be missed by all.
