Aldeane Peterson

Aldeane "Dean" Peterson, age 61, of Backus, passed away Sunday, February 22, 2009. He was born September 3, 1947 in North St. Paul to Aldeane and Eleanor Peterson. Dean married Marlene Westphal on August 23, 1980 in Hackensack. He served in the U.S. Army from 1968 to 1969 in Vietnam.
Dean is survived by his wife, Marlene; children: Dean Burgess (Brenda) of Princeton, Justin Peterson of Backus, Tracy Niskanen (Cory) of Jenkins; brother, Archie Peterson of Backus; sister, Susan Capaul of Scandia; and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Karen Anderson and Darlene Summer.
Services will be 11 AM on Saturday, February 28 at the Motley Free Methodist Church in Motley, with Pastor Jim Johnson officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Arrangements are with Kline Funeral Home, Pine River.
