Alberta Mrosla

Alberta Rose Mrosla, 73, passed away peacefully Thursday July 11, 2019 in Pierz, MN. Visitation will be at 10:00 AM Wednesday, July 17, at Our Lady of Lourdes in Little Falls, MN, with memorial service to follow.

Alberta was born on April 19, 1946 to Thomas and Agnes (Kopka) Trutwin in Little Falls, MN.  She went to one year of college at St. Cloud State University. She then married her husband, Cyril Mrosla, on April 23, 1966. After raising her two boys up til their teenage years.  Alberta became a Principal Secretary of the School of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Minnesota, where she dedicated 22 years. Alberta loved to read, watch movies, and admire and spend time in flower gardens. She was especially excited about spending time with her loving grandchildren, traveling, and visiting the casino.

Alberta is survived by her dear husband of 53 years, Cyril; sons John (Debbie) Mrosla of Coon Rapids, and Jim (Brenda) Mrosla of Little Falls; brother Tom (Sharla) Trutwin; and grandchildren, Anthony, Anna, Jesse, and Jenna.  Alberta was preceded in death by her parents, Tom and Agnes.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the American Cancer Society.
