Albert Campbell

Albert "Al" Campbell, 74, of Merrifield, MN died at his home, November 28, 2015. Services for Albert will be 11:00 AM, Saturday, December 5, 2015 at the Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter, MN, with Pastor Justin Halbermasa officiating. Family and friends are invited to gather for visitation one hour prior to services.

Albert was born May 16, 1941 in Newark Township, Michigan to Byron and Margueritte (Johnson) Campbell. He was raised and educated in Michigan. Al served in the US Army in Germany. Al worked at a lot of power plants in North Dakota, Minnesota, and Kansas. He was a member of the Boilermakers Union. In 1974 he moved to the Merrifield, MN area. Al retired in 1985 for health reasons. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, woodworking, berry picking, and was a naturalist.

Al is survived by his mother, Margueritte Campbell; brother, Robert (Betty Lou); sisters, Julia (Richard) Fox, Althea (Donald) Platt; step daughter, Lisa Brunes (Lee Page); grandchildren, Stephanie (David) Berlien, Christiina Brunes, Jessica Brunes; great grandchildren, Zoey, Nevaeh, Jeremiah, Zander, Gabriel; and many life long friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Byron Campbell; and brother, Murle Dean Campbell. Arrangements have been entrusted to Brenny Funeral Chapel in Baxter, MN.
