Adeline Potz, age 86, of Pequot Lakes, passed away Sunday, April 7, 2013, at Good Samaritan Society, Pine River. She was born to Charles and Iva Brazier on February 5, 1927, in Todd County, MN. Adeline graduated from Staples High School in 1944. She married Gerald "Tony" Potz on August 18, 1948, in Brainerd. Adeline attended the Franklin School of Nursing in Minneapolis and worked at Immanuel Hospital in Mankato, then as a charge nurse at St. Peter Community Hospital and Health Care Center. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, baking, gardening and bird watching. She loved her pets and spoiling her grandchildren.
Adeline is survived by her daughter, Becky Potz; grandchildren: Adam Potz, Sarah Glasby, Christopher Glasby; great grandchildren: Jennifer Potz, Ryan Potz, Jacob Potz, Isaac Potz; step great granddaughter, Rachel Kelsey; two great-great grandchildren; son-in-law, Bernie Glasby; and daughter-in-law, Carol Potz.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Gerald "Tony"; son, Michel; daughter, Toni; grandson, Joel; brother, Cal Brazier; and an infant sister.
Services will be 2 PM on Saturday, April 13 at Kline Funeral Home, Pequot Lakes. Visitation will be Friday from 5 to 7 PM and one hour prior to the service on Saturday. Burial will be in Motley Public Cemetery.
