Christopher Kriesel

Christopher Lee Kriesel, 36, of Brainerd, MN lost his battle with his demons on April 30th, 2019. A celebration of life will be on May 11th, 2019 from 1pm to 4pm at the Nisswa Community Center at 25628 Main St, Nisswa, MN 56468.

Chris was born May 6th, 1982 in Minneapolis, MN to Jeffrey and Wanda Kriesel. Chris attended Pine River-Backus High School and graduated in 2000. Chris, as quoted by his children, was a creative & fun father who enjoyed taking the time to just sit and play with them as well as taking them to do various fun activities. He was very passionate about many things, especially professional wrestling, anything with a motor and wholeheartedly putting his full potential into everything he did.

He will be lovingly remembered by his children, Hailey and Levi & their mother Kristen Ruopsa and Dominic & his mother Rachel Johnson; his mother Wanda Campbell-Kriesel (Rodney Henry) and his father Jeffrey (Barb) Kriesel; his sister Janel (Joe) Kittel and Jeffrey (Tessa) Kriesel, step-siblings Sarah Asper & Dan Hatfield, nieces & nephews; Christopher Hanson, Ethan, Kaden, Greyson & Olivia Kriesel, grandparents Dale & Marlys Kriesel and many aunts, uncles and cousins. He has been reunited with his favorite Uncle “Wally” Campbell, his grandparents, Veronica (“Red”) Lindberg, Frank Campbell and many other extended family members.
